‘Arabesque’, a boxwood netsuke of a sunflower by Guy Shaw (British 1951-2003)
Carved from a pale boxwood which has been lightly coloured with green and orange pigments. Small abstract clouds float across the flower and there is a single applied dewdrop on one leaf
Signed with the monogram: GS with additional undeciphered inscription
