Bamboo Pipe Case by Hasegawa Ikko
Well carved with Ebisu, a large tai fish dangling from his fishing line. The ends are of shitan, that at the top hinged and opening when one slides the cord attachment upwards. Splits in the bamboo are neatly held together by inserted joints in different materials
