Celebrated 3-case Inro with Shojo by Hasegawa Ikko

Decorated on one side with a Shojo holding his (her?) head and a large saké bowl, on the other with a massive storage jar and ladle. The decoration is in inlays of tortoise-shell, wood, stained bone, pewter and shell. The interior is lacquered red
Signed on a green stained tablet. Probably Tsu. Circa 1820

With an opaque glass ojime and a wood netsuke of a Shojo slurping saké from a giant bowl. Signed Masateru (Osaka, 1871-1946). Height: 4.6 cm
