Ebony netsuke of a Kappa with turtle, by Masatoshi 

The long haired kappa sprawling over the tortoise, leaning on an elbow, bending back the tortoise’s head and apparently preparing to eat it (some cucumber!)

Signed: Masatoshi to.  Tokyo.  Circa 1977
