In a tomobako,inscribed on the top: “uzura hane togidashi makie, kogo”, repeated on a printed label with omission of the word “togidashi”. Inscribed on the underside of the cover “Showa jugonen haru, Benroku saku” [made by Benroku in the spring of 1940]. The tomoninu (silk wrapper) bears the seal benroku which also appears beneath the cover
