Fruitwood Tonkotsu in the Form of a Bat by Asahi Meido
The wings carved around the side and beneath, the eyes inlaid in dark horn. The cover at the front is a piece of ivory carved as reishi fungus. The cord holes have rings of green stained ivory

The well made bamboo musozutsu pipecase is made to look as if of wood with interesting joints, and is carved with reishi to form the cord attachment
