Inlaid shitan wood Manju in the Style of Ogawa Haritsu (Ritsuo)
The two part manju is inlaid on the recto with a karako in bone (head and shoes), mother-of-pearl (robe) and carved red lacquer (trousers) standing close to a gate. On the verso we find Hotei’s treasure sack in takamakie lacquer beside an uchiwa fan, both decorated with hiramakie lacquer motifs
