**SOLD** Ivory Netsuke of Two Mice in an Awabi Shell in the style of Ishikawa Kōmei (1852-1913) 

Carved from a very pure white ivory with limpets on the underside of the shell, the rats with inlaid eyes of black buffalo horn

Unsigned. Circa 1900

Length: 5.8 cm

Information:

The netsuke was previously accompanied by a note in Japanese mentioning the names Hisako and Gosho (possibly the Gosho Palace), with a Meiji date equivalent to 1904
