The sheath has a double gourd shaped opening on both sides, the body decorated with a gourd vine, its flowers of applied silver. The 5-case interior is decorated in togidashi with a hut in a landscape on one side, a traveler with an umbrella crossing a rustic bridge under pouring rain on the other
