Large ivory manju netsuke carved with Fujihime and oni by Kikugawa 

Carved in shishiaibori, Fujihime holding a trailing branch of wysteria and behaving coquettishly towards the hesitant oni. There is much engrave detail, some of it coloured, and with some Shibayama inlay.  At the back the ivory pin is fixed with a substantial silver mount which originally would have been attached to articulated silver flaps and a pouch.  One flap, engraved with clouds, remains
