Half naked, her loose robe hanging off one shoulder, she stretches and yawns with her mouth wide open, while suckling her baby. The skirt of her kimono is suggested by pleasing abstract lines underneath

I associate this model with Masakazu of Gifu. For two other examples, see Davey, ‘Netsuke’ [Hindson collection], p. 234, nos. 722 and 723. This is larger than most such models and is probably unique for the inclusion of the suckling infant
