Netsuke of Monkey with Kaki by Masanao of Kyoto

The male monkey holding the fruit still attached to its branch which retains a leaf.  The material is cleverly used so that the outer skin is still visible on the fruit and on the muzzle of the animal.  The eyes are inlaid with pupils in reddish buffalo horn
