Fuld records only 14 netsuke by Rokko, covering only 6 subjects, almost all taken from Japanese legend. The artist, about whom we know surprisingly little, never disappoints with his netsuke and okimono, all of which are characterised by originality, technical brilliance, attention to detail and energy
