Small Single-case Lacquer Ink-cake Inro Attributed to Ogawa Haritsu, known as Ritsuō (1663-1747)
Made from mottled green-brown lacquer, with low releif decoration of a tsuitate standing in front of a rock and bamboo on the recto, the verso with 4 character inscription, and one side with a seal in relief. The body is incised with imitation craquelure and there is considerable trompe l’œil distress intended to imitate an old ink stick
