Netsuke of a Snake Attacking a Toad 

The snake biting into the right foreleg of the toad, which tries to use its flexed right hindleg to lever itself free. A distinct bulge towards the tail of the snake suggests that it has not yet fully digested its previous meal. The skins of both creatures are well incised and stippled, and the eyes of the snake are double inlays of buffalo horn
