Wood and Ivory Netsuke of Kiyohime, Follower of Tanaka Juntoku Minkō

The typical Minko composition with the enraged witch winding around the side of the bell.  There is no sign of Anchin within. The top of the bell is removable and serves as a cord attachment in the manner of a hako-netsuke. Kiyohime’s face and forearms are of ivory, and there is an ivory ring to the single himotoshi beneath the bell
