Wood Netsuke of a Monkey by Namboku
Carved from dark fruitwood, the monkey is seated in a Toyomasa inspired pose, huddled with arms held close, clutching its head in an attitude of despair. The eyes are of yellow horn with inked drilled pupils. The himotoshi are both generous
