Fuld lists 6 netsuke by an Echigo artist called Shugetsu Kachu, 5 toads and a horse. A typical Echigo toad is listed and illustrated by Neil Davey in the Hindson collection book , p. 271, no. 831. It seems that the horse and this rat are rare departures for this artist
