Wood Netsuke of a Recumbent Boar by Yoshinobu
Lying, facing ahead and with its legs folded neatly beneath it. The coat is meticulously incised as are large eye lashes. The eye pupils are inlaid in dark horn. 18th century style himotoshi

Fuld lists several artists of this name, but I suspect that it is the first, referenced by him as Yoshinobu-01 with 13 netsuke, 7 of animals, including the goat illustrated in Lazarnick’s NIA
