Wood Netsuke of a Toad by Kōmin
Crouching low to the ground, its webbed feet splayed beneath it. The spaces between the bumps of the skin are enlivened with ukibori spots. The eyes are double inlays behind crystal, or more likely mica, presumably bone with ebony or jet pupils. The himotoshi are ringed with deer antler
