Lacquered Pine Panel with Fish by Yuri Petrov
Two dried fish and a fish head dangle from a line. The flesh of the whole fish has largely disappeared. The technique is a combination of intaglio carving and modeling with artificial lacquers. The bark of the pine panel is simulated in lacquer
